If you know of a desktop computer, you may already know, that there is no single part of a “computer”. A computer is a system composed of several parts working together. The physical parts that you could see and touch and collectively known hardware. There are some parts that together form a computer-hardware computers.

Computer Hardware Parts:

The system unit is the heart of a computer system. In general, there is a rectangular box placed on or under the desk. There are several electronic components, the information in this box process. The most important of these components is the central processing unit (CPU) or microprocessor, which serves as the brain of the computer.

Another component is the RAM or the RAM memory that temporarily stores data that the CPU while the computer is turned on uses. If the computer is turned off, the information stored in RAM is erased

Hard Disk Drive

your computer’s hard drive stores data on a hard drive, a company board or stack of plates with a magnetic surface. The hard drives in your computer is usually used as the primary means of storage, holding almost all of your programs and files, as they can absorb enormous amounts of information. The hard disk is usually inside the system unit.

DVD and CD drives

Almost all computers Today they are located with a DVD or CD drive, usually at the front of the system unit.

CD drives use lasers to read or retrieve data from a CD and many CD drives can also write or record data on CDs. DVD drives can do everything that CD drives can read and they can also DVDs. If you have a DVD drive, you can watch movies on your computer. Multiple DVD drives can record data onto blank DVDs

Floppy Disk Drive

disk drives store information on floppy disks, also known as floppies or diskettes. Floppy disks, CDs and DVDs can store only a small amount in comparison to data. They also have information again more slowly and are more susceptible to damage. For these reasons, floppy disk drives less admired than they were before, although some computers still include them.
